Slot Insulation
Before winding, insulation paper is folded and pushed into each core slot; after winding, slot wedges close the slot and hold the coils. Both operations are small, fast and repeated for every slot, so the machines are judged on paper feed reliability, cut length accuracy and slot indexing repeatability.
Bocadar slot paper and slot wedge machines are built for the small slot geometries of micro motors and can be configured per slot count and stack length.
